Essential Hospice

Essential Hospice is a business founded on the belief that patient and families facing life limiting disease will be provided exceptional care based on individual need.  Essential Hospice is a LLC.  Essential Hospice is a medical model that has highly skilled individuals with exceptional knowledge in the delivery of end of life care known as Hospice. Hospice care is provided to individuals that have a disease process that is no longer curative.  It is designed to provide for the client’s individual needs, including but not limited to the following: Physician oversight, nursing care, psychosocial needs, and spiritual needs, personal needs, activities of daily living, Medical Equipment, and Medications for symptom management.  Hospice care is paid 100% by Medicare, Medicaid, Veteran Administration, and most insurance providers have a Hospice benefit.  To qualify for Hospice a physician must give an order and a written statement that patient has a life limiting disease that should it runs it natural course client has a life expectancy of six (6) months or less.

Our Business

Essential Hospice’s goal is to provide relief of symptoms and make the client more comfortable, relaxed, safe, and to educate the client and caregivers about the disease process and what to expect. Knowing that their symptoms will be controlled is a welcome relief to clients and caregivers.  Education is of utmost importance. Fear of the unknown is a huge struggle for clients and caregivers. 

Who We Are

The hospice care team is responsible developing an Individual Plan of Care for the patient and coordination of services for home and inpatient care.
